Two Opportunities to “Love Mercy”

Micah 6:8 says, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.   And what does the LORD require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy  and to walk humbly with your God.”

There are two opportunities this weekend at First Pres. Pooler to honor God and serve others. 

The first is the Brown Bag Event at Savannah’s Second Harvest Food Bank.  Join us this Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 am. Meet at 2401 President Street in Savannah as we pack grocery bags full of food to be given to the elderly. This is a great opportunity for adults and kids. We should work approxiametly 2 hours.

The second opportunity is to prepare shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  All boxes need to be dropped off at the church by Sunday evening, Nov. 13.  For information on how to pack those boxes simply follow this link:
